We hope that you’ll take the time to browse around and if you like what you see and read, we hope you’ll join us at our next meeting.
Our guild was formed in March, 2005 by Darlene Griffin. Our purpose is to foster the art of quilting, to encourage a high standard of design and technique in all of its various forms, to educate and mentor members of the community in the art of quilting and to stimulate interest in the art of quilting through shows, workshops, classes and demonstrations. Last but certainly not least, to give back to our community through our charity outreach.
Our membership is composed of members from Brandon, Dade City, Land O Lakes, Lutz, Mulberry, New Port Richey, Odessa and Tampa. You can see that some of our members drive a few miles to the monthly meetings where they can enjoy programs, show & tell and build friendships with other quilters. We hope you’ll think it’s worth it too!

Class: Rulers and Measurement
Instructor: Barbara Crum
This is an instructional class to help everyone more fully understand the rulers and measurements that we quilters use to construct our masterpiecers. If you have ever said, "This fabric measures 3 inches and 2 little marks" then this class is for you. Even experienced quilters will benefit from Barbara's class so bring all those rulers you couldn't resist buying and she'll teach you how to use them.
We will not be doing any sewing so leave your mahcines and general sewing supplies at home.
Supply List:
Rulers - 6"x24", 12" x 12 1/2", 6"x61/2", triangular, flying geese and any specialty ruler
Paper and Pencil
Calculator (optional)
1 yard of fabric (somthing you can spare, 'uglies' are perfect)
Rotary Cutter and cutting mat
As usual we will also be hosting our Sit and Sew group. Bring your own projects and sew with those not taking the class. If you have any questions or need driving directions, call or E-mail Paula Lewis.
