This year the Block of the Month (BOM) will prove to be very exciting. The committee has decided to do the entire year in a Civil War theme!

Here's how it will work; each month you will be presented with a new block and the history around that particular civil war block. If you choose to participate, you will be given a package that will contain directions on how to assemble the block AND enough civil war fabric to make 2 blocks! Our intent is that you make 1 block to turn in the following month and keep one for yourself.

Each month when you turn in your block, you will qualify to participate in the current months block, PLUS, you'll receive a ticket for the drawing. Each month we will draw a number(s) and that lucky person(s) will win the blocks turned in that evening. Please note, if we have a large number of participants, we'll have multiple winners.

By the end of the year you should have a minimum of one large civil war quilt and possibly more if you're the lucky winner one month! Remember, you must turn in your block from the previous month before you can receive the next months block.
